Exposure to Chinese Painting (Art Club)

Pupils from Art Club are exposed to Chinese Painting with reference to work by the great master - Wu Guanzhong. They worked on subjects of Bamboo and Panda in composing harmonious depictions of this Artform.

Exposure to Chinese Painting (P2)

CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh)

In this course, P2 girls are exposed to basic Chinese Painting with reference to work by Wu Guanzhong. They used basic stroke techniques to paint subject of birds.








Cubist Portraits (P3)

CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh)

P3 girls are introduced to Cubism with reference to work by Picasso, Braque and Chen Wen Hsi. They used mixed media in creating their work on theme of Portraits.

Mixed Media Painting - Nature (P6)

In this course, P6 girls worked with diferent media such as acrylic paint, oil-pastel and Collage in creating their work on theme of Nature.









Paper Sculpture - My Garden (P3)

Tao Nan School

P3 pupils were introduced to basic techniques of Paper Sculpture in this course. They worked on theme of My Garden creating their favourite insects amidst plants and flowers.

Great Masters' Series - Post-impressionism (P5)

Tao Nan School

In this course, P5 pupils are introduced to Post-impressionist masters and their work. Vincent Van Gogh's work are referred for their hands-on. They created landscape sceneries adapted from Van Gogh's techniques using oil-pastel.









Teachers' Workshop In-school (Plasticine Relief Art)

North Spring Primary School

In this course, lower primary teachers are introduced to Plasticine Relief Art. They are coached step-by-step in creating Relief Art in tile-like form using Plasticine. They attempted various themes which are applicable to lower primary levels (P1/P2).
