Mixed Media Art (Enrichment Programme)
Singapore Chinese Girls' School (Primary)
The girls work on 2 themes in this series of Mixed Media enrichment programmes - Tropical Fruits; Cultural Masks. They worked with mixed media of paint, dyes, scrap paper etc. The work on Tropical Fruits was composed alike a fabric pattern while the latter was done in rhythmic form.

Mixed Media in Cubism (Enrichment Programme)

Pupils were exposed to Cubism in this course, experimented with 'dissection' and 'fragmentation' of images. They adopted an NE theme depicting portraits of our 4 major ethnic groups in Singapore, reflecting our multicultural society. Finalwork were done in Mixed Media using various recycled materials such as carton boxes, egg-crates etc.

In this course, pupils used various paper materials applying techniques of Collage and Paper Sculpture. They visualised their environment as a colourful and vibrant HDB neighbourhood which is unique to Singaporeans. These buildings created a beautiful patterned-scape with various daily activities going on day and night.

3D Paper Mache Art with Recycled Materials (Enrichment Programme)

In this project, pupils designed and formed their HDB flats using recycled and scrap materials like carton boxes, cardboard etc. These flats were assembled amid vast greenery of trees, hence, a 'go green' message of having an eco-friendly living environment.
