Food in Pop Art (Art Club)

Tanjong Katong Girls' School

The girls adopted popular food items as subjects for their work, forming images of hamburgers, ice-cream, cocktails etc. in Pop Art style.
















Paper Sculpture (26 Aug 2011)

Teachers' Workshop (Season III)

In this introductory course on Paper Sculpture, teachers worked on various types of fancy/coloured paper in 'popping out' their subjects of animals within a composed setting.
















Fasion Illustration (Art Club)

Zheng Hua Secondary School

Students were introduced to all developmental stages of Fasion Design in this course. Their designs were inspired from various sources such as Nature, Architecture and Cultures. Finalwork were represented on display plates using alternative media.

Mixed Media - Nature (P4)

Using mixed media, pupils created scenes of nature depicting forests, gardens and natural reserves.








Relief Mixed Media - Peranakan Houses (P5)

In this course, pupils worked with  mixed media in relief forms to create their own designs of Peranakan houses.























Cubist Still-life (P6)

Tao Nan School

Pupils derived ideas and elements from Cubism and Staint-glass Art in forming their Still-life on subjects of containers and bottles.

Art Tour to Art Garden @ Singapore Art Museum (Art Club)

Park View Primary School

Pupils were brought to Singapore Art Museum to tour the Art Garden which has an enchanted selection of artworks specially curated for children and families.

"Say hello to Walter, the curious colossal bunny. Catch the Dancing Solar Flowers installation and discover how light makes the flowers dance. Step into the fantastic blue universe of Paramodelic Graffiti, dress up life sized hand painted dolls in Mummy Dearest, shop at the lively Fruits market and create 3D paper fruit and watch fun animations from all over the world."

Recycled Robots (P6)

Pupils were taught 3D skills and assembling techniques in this course, with them using recycled materials such as carton boxes, paper packagings, bottle caps etc. to create their fanciful robots.
